It is located in one of seven famous ‘Stalin' towers, originally constructed in 1954.
Following a refurbishment, it boasts historic features and architecture mixed with modern design.
The 273-room hotel is spread over 28 floors, featuring LCD flat screen televisions, and high-speed and Wi-Fi internet access.
The hotel also boasts five historical suites, a three-room Presidential Suite, a signature gourmet restaurant offering Russian and international cuisine and a health and fitness club.
"We are entering into Russia at a pivotal time in its economic development," said Wolfgang M. Neumann, President of Hilton Hotels Europe.
"Improved accessibility from key feeder markets such as Western Europe and the US combined with increased wealth and mobility of domestic travellers are certainly key factors for this growth. To cater for this we anticipate that we could see more than 70 Hilton Family hotels across Russia over the next ten years."
