Crystal introduces fuel surcharges

Clients booking on or after 23 June will pay a surcharge of £6.25 per guest per day.
"We regret any increased charges to our guests, but the fuel costs are escalating far beyond expectations," said Sophie Higgins, Crystal Cruises UK sales and marketing director.
"Unfortunately, even this amount will not fully cover the increased costs we are absorbing."
The company set 2009 cruise fares in late 2007 and has not initiated any increased cruise fares since the initial launch.
