Bowood to expand with hotel and spa facilities

The 43-room Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort, UK, is set to open in May 2009 and is now accepting online reservations.
The property will link up with the existing Bowood Golf & Country Club, which features an 18-hole championship golf course.
The resort will offer six luxury suites, a bar and two lounges.
The Shelburne Bar and Restaurant will feature an open theatre kitchen serving modern British food, and two lounges will have wood-burning fires.
The spa will boast a swimming pool, gym, rock sauna, crystal steam room and aromatherapy showers.
Beauty and health treatments will also be available to hotel suite guests in-room.
The hotel is situated in 2,000 acres of Grade I listed parkland, mapped out by the century garden designer, Capability Brown in the 1760s.
